PRE-COINS
Prior to the usage of coins (lumps with an issuing design), there was "trading barter", then lumps polished on one side, then lumps polished on one side AND with a square punch on the other side, then lumps with striations on the front side and a square punch on the other side, then lumps with a geometric design on the front.




1. A lump, polished on one side and rough on the other side.
2. A lump, polished on one side and a square punch on the other side.
3. A lump with strirations on one side and square punch(s) on the other side.
4. A lump with a geometric design on one side or both sides.
