Not often can one find a painter of such talent as Louise Donahue.

Many artists can create an image of a face from a photo or from life. Here, however, is a painter that can paint a personality. At a single glance, one can hear the voice of the subject; one can see the gestures of the face and of the body.

On these two dimensional canvases, Donahue has produced at least a stereoview if not a full motion picture of each subject.

In future exhibits, the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museums will attempt to bring the manuscripts to life by including a corresponding portrait from this amazing artist.
